About this bottle

Launched in 2013, Beefeater Burrough's Reserve Gin is rested in oak barrels. This limited edition expression utilizes James Burrough's original 1860 recipe and is distilled in his original copper pot still, "still number 12," which holds 268 litres (71 gallons). The gin is subsequently rested in French barrels previously employed for aging Jean de Lillet, an aperitif wine. It is bottled at 43% ABV.

Nose: The aroma doesn't suggest gin at all. A sharp, sweet candy scent. Taste is sweet and lingering.
