Barrell Craft Spirits launched its Private Release Whiskey Series, consisting of 24 batches of Kentucky whiskey that were subsequently aged in a different barrel. The oldest whiskey used in any batch is 18 years old. Each batch yields 150 to 180 bottles and is bottled at cask strength. Batch AH15 was finished in an apricot brandy barrel.

They've truly created something special here. It hardly resembles whiskey to me. The fruity essence from the brandy truly stands out, resulting in something novel and distinct.
