Maynard Hanlon 3.0

Vintage bottle Smell: Loads of dried fruit, particularly old plums, with hints of spice. After a bit, tangerine emerges. Palate: Sweet plum flavor, with an oily, slightly syrupy texture, followed by more tangerine. Finish: Brief I missed the vanilla notes others detected, but the initial taste was rich with dried fruits, and the final impression was tangerine. While not as intricate as certain whiskies, its fruity character and smooth feel make it a popular choice for many older individuals.

Michel Bloom 3.5

An Otard Chateau de Cognac VSOP from Cognac, France. This blend uses eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies & Fins Bois. It begins aromatically with notes of flowers, pear, linden trees, oak, tobacco & a touch of vanilla; its elegant middle brings notes of vanilla, toffee, caramel, earthy tobacco, oak tannins & apricot; leading to a well-rounded, medium-length finish. Alfred Potts 3.3

Nothing special at all. Just a straightforward cognac flavor with a rich aroma at the start and a strong but not very pleasant aftertaste. I don't want to buy it a second time. Other brands are far better.

Frankie Barkley 3.5

First cognac in quite some time. Nose - green fruit banana pear Palate - rich fruity oak Finish - spicy stone fruit Delicious stuff, I received a sample from a friend.

Anya Mcmillian 4.3

Nose like a sweet tangerine mixed with vanilla. Mildly oily on the palate, very balanced floral notes, with a distant hint of banana. Tender finish and highly refreshing.

Stewart Gore 4.3

Sweet smell, hint of vanilla. A bit of a strong taste, mild aftertaste with a hint of spices. Good price and a good cognac for everyday.
