About this bottle

Avuá Jequitibá Rosa Cachaça, launched in September 2017, is the third aged cachaça from Avuá. It is named after the Brazilian Jequitibá Rosa wood, a dense hardwood native to central and southern Brazil, in which it is aged for up to two years. The US market will receive only 600 bottles of this release.

This is a single barrel production, aged in large, vertical casks made from dark, rich wood. It has a light fruity aroma and a delicate yet slightly bitter taste.
