Astral Tequila is made from 100% agave sourced from a single, high-altitude organic estate located at the western edge of Mexico's tequila region. The agave is roasted in a traditional stone oven and subsequently crushed. Fermentation utilizes local yeast, with the solids remaining in the mixture to enhance flavor. The tequila is ultimately pot distilled twice and bottled at 92 proof. Please note: This tequila brand was relaunched in April 2022 by Diageo with altered proof and packaging.

This blanco Tequila is among the best I've had the pleasure to sample. Very earthy and vegetal with ripe green pepper on the palate, but much less heat than I anticipated from the higher proof. The extra alcohol enhances the flavor, which is very satisfying. It's an obvious choice for any tequila cocktail and also a fine spirit to sip on its own. I'm happy I decided to try this one. Absolutely recommended.
A complex Agave Spirit from NOM 1137. It has an aromatic beginning with notes of agave, fruits, nuts, herbs & spices; while a rich & complex middle added notes of caramel, grapefruit, melon, grass, lemon peel, & pear, that led to an herbal end of medium length with notes of oak, pepper, almonds, clove & coriander.
Agave with a peppery kick and a hidden alcohol content. Mostly mixed into margaritas, with a few discreet straight pours. A good choice.
Cinnamon and other baking spices really stand out in the aftertaste.
Lemon and white pepper. Smooth with a light consistency.
