About this bottle

The Warenghem family established their distillery in Brittany, France, in 1900. In 1998, they launched Armorik, the first single malt whisky from Brittany. Armorik Double Maturation is produced from a mash of 100% malted barley, distilled and aged in new Brittany oak casks, and then finished in ex-oloroso sherry barrels.

Addison Culbertson 4.3

A light caramel hue precedes caramel and vanilla aromas with a hint of stone fruit. The palate echoes the caramel, starting mellow, with some honeyed fruit notes and a touch of spice, before smoke emerges, concluding with a pleasant, lingering sweetness. Quite enjoyable!

Jermaine Storey 4.0

Incredible! This is superb and quite similar to a certain Glenlivet, though at a lesser alcohol percentage. Pears and subtle floral notes on the nose, with the palate introducing an additional woody dimension. The texture is viscous, leading to a smooth finish. Recommended!

Kyrie Forman 5.0

Obtained directly from the source. It's intriguing! The flavor presents a nice balance between woodiness and herbal/floral notes. Lightly smoky, not peaty. To my liking, it's a good choice.

Harris Albrecht 4.0

Very subtle on the nose with floral hints and vanilla. The palate is surprisingly spicy with some mild sweetness. The finish is slightly bitter. Very smooth and easy to consume.

Lyric Cardoza 3.3

A background of light sherry cask sweetness is present, but the dominant notes are dusty walnuts, wax, lanolin, and sawdust.

Chris Valdovinos 4.3

This was very pleasing; abundant green apple on the nose. The body was quite fruity and sweet. It had really intriguing cask notes, specifically a flavor of roasted vanilla.
