Angostura Rum 7 Year

It comes across as young and flat, with a slight harshness remaining. The aroma is pleasant, even better when diluted. It has vanilla, fruit, and nut notes with a strong freshness. The taste is smooth, but features a brief harshness that fades into... well, nothing. I'm not saying it's not a good sipper. It's primarily a sipper because I can't picture it in mixers, unless you're looking to get wasted. I actually enjoy this one because it's somewhat of an... outsider. It lacks a profound taste, but it still possesses its own distinct personality. So, if you're exploring the world of rum, don't hesitate to try it. But if you're a rum purist, keep away.

I tried it neat. It's an enjoyable beverage, especially considering its price point. For a genuine rum experience, consider purchasing a slightly pricier bottle.

A good rum for beginners. It has hints of vanilla and oak. Much stronger than other rums, with a burning sensation on the tongue and in the mouth.

Very basic rum, highly alcoholic, too simple for 7 years of aging. I probably won't buy it again.
