On the nose, caramel, molasses, vanilla, honey, and browned sugar dominate, with a faint grapefruit and orange peel note in the background. When tasted, the caramel and vanilla hit the tongue hard but vanish rapidly. Few other flavors emerge, making this a very straightforward rum. The finish is swift without any ethanol burn. Overall assessment: Nose 4/5; Palate and Finish 1.75/5: Overall 2.25/5 Will buy again: Yes Use: For mixing Cuba Libres
