On the nose, caramel, molasses, vanilla, honey, and browned sugar dominate, with a faint grapefruit and orange peel note in the background. When tasted, the caramel and vanilla hit the tongue hard but vanish rapidly. Few other flavors emerge, making this a very straightforward rum. The finish is swift without any ethanol burn.
