Akori Gin

Nose: grapefruit and lime zest, ginger, juniper, coriander, green apple, rose, sweet floral notes, mint, white pepper, anise, clove, powdered sugar, mild ethanol bite. Palate: mint, ginger, lemon and lime zest, juniper, coriander, white pepper, floral notes, anise, powdered sugar, allspice, clove, apple, grapefruit, mild to moderate alcohol bite, finishing quickly with citrus, mint, and juniper flavors. The mint, ginger, and citrus are prominent here. It's nice, but not exceptional. I don't prefer this nose and palate as much as another's, but the finish is much less bitter, which is good. It costs $5 more than that other gin, so I don't see myself buying a bottle, but there are certainly less appealing gins to drink.

The aroma is very juniper, lime ginger, a quick spice, botanical. Sophisticated, it invites a slow appreciation. I value its rich and complex smell and aromas. The taste is juniper and pine, slight warmth, smooth, very smooth with a citronella note, possibly grapefruit peel, or lime peel. A very pleasant slow sipper.

A Spanish gin with a crisp profile. It begins with an aromatic bouquet of juniper and grain alcohol derived from rice. A fruity character follows, introducing notes of dragon fruit, kumquat, citrus, and ginger, culminating in a complex and balanced finish of medium duration. November 2016 / March 2017

I had a mini bottle and recalled it being good. I bought a full-size bottle, and it wasn't as I remembered. The finish was quick and it lacked the character I expected.

Tasting from a 50ml sample and pleased I only purchased this amount. Truly an average gin when compared to other products from the same area.

I experienced some disappointment, as I had anticipated excellence, similar to other spirits from the same region.
