The owners of the 512 Tequila brand are located in Austin, Texas, which is reflected in the 512 area code designation. The spirit is manufactured under contract at Jalisco's La Cofradia distillery. The blue Weber agaves are cooked in stone ovens, and the distillate undergoes a 24-hour filtering and oxygenation process. 512 Tequila is an unaged spirit.

A refined Agave Spirit from NOM 1137. Its scent opens with agave, citrus, herbs, and spices. The body presents cooked agave, green bell pepper, and lime. The finish is a medium-length blend of creaminess and spice, featuring black pepper, sea spray, and metal. April 2016 / April 2017 / February 2019 / December 2021 / May 2022
Lots of vanilla on the nose, along with some burnt sugar crème brûlée crust. The taste is also a bit sweet with vanilla, metallic vegetal agave, and a pleasant burn that spreads across the mouth. Very enjoyable overall. B+.
Smooth and not very hot. It's sweet with plenty of vegetal notes and just a hint of pepper at the end.
A bit of pepper at the start, followed by a sweet, mellow vegetal finish.
