About this bottle
Colección de la Casa Reserva 2016, launched in November 2016, is an updated iteration of Casa Herradura's initial successful reposado from 2012. Produced in Amatitán, Jalisco, from 100% blue weber agave, it undergoes double distillation and double maturation. It initially rests for 11 months in medium-char American white oak casks, followed by an additional 2 months in port casks. These selected finishing casks are from Portugal and were previously used for aging port from the Duoro Valley. It is bottled at 40% ABV.
