About this bottle
The name 400 Conejos is inspired by ancient Mesoamerican lore where the number 400 represented countless beings. This mezcal references the legend of the 400 rabbits, mythical spirits associated with those who partake. Produced by Don Tacho and his son, Joel Santiago, 400 Conejos Reposado is made from 100% Espadín agave sourced from Tlacolula, Oaxaca. It spends three months aging in American oak.

The smokiness is very pleasant! It's still a bit unrefined. I would love to try the Anejo someday.
Really enjoyable. Lightly smoky with some interesting layers beneath.
