The aroma has a very slight resemblance to blanco tequila; its scent is not nearly as potent as that of Lunazul Blanco. The palate is light, mirroring the nose, with considerable sweetness that doesn't become excessive. It bears some resemblance to El Tesoro Blanco in its lightness, though it is sweeter. The flavor is delicate and fruity with a pleasant floral note that prevents it from being too mineral-driven. It's challenging to discern all the subtleties, but there's a nice mild burn from the spice and a subtle bitter vegetal note that remains in check. This isn't a Fortaleza Blanco, but it's quite good, offering mild complexity and clean execution. A bit more complexity and intensity would elevate it to greatness, but it's surprisingly good nonetheless. In terms of flavor, it lacks the intensity of Lunazul Blanco and also seems less complex. I suppose it's not a very complex tequila after all. When directly compared, this actually has a slight off-putting fishy note. Unfortunately, it doesn't fare well against a benchmark. The complexity does reemerge fairly quickly, but the fishy characteristic tends to linger. It also lacks the delightful fruitiness of San Matias Blanco. While it presents a more typical tequila profile, the flavor is simply too faint. There's a hint of grassiness that might be polarizing because it complements but also emphasizes the lightness. This is significantly better than the dreadful 1800 Blanco and also surpasses the 1800 Reposado. However, it's thoroughly uninspiring and doesn't offer a particularly great flavor. When tasted without anything else beforehand, the sweetness and a touch of caramel richness are enjoyable. There's a bit too much alcohol on the finish, though.

Neat from a freshly opened bottle. Aroma is sweet, agave, fruity, slight minerals and herbal notes. Taste is true to aroma. Agave nectar, tropical fruit, a little smooth vanilla, and green herbs and a whisper of mint and hot cinnamon. Body is moderately light and pretty smooth. Finish is pretty long and mostly saccharine sweet and drying, with that cinnamon building up a little over time. Not a bad sipper. Not super complex, but not boring and very drinkable. Not many organics available at this price. Would purchase again at this price
A smooth Tequila from Casa Tequilera de Arandas Nom1570 in Highlands - Los Altos, Mexico. Made with just organic blue agave. It begins smoky with tastes of cooked agave, soil & fruit; then a mellow & creamy middle brings in citrus, dried fruit & spice; ending in a full & easy finish of moderate duration with hints of red pepper, minerals, lime & smoke. The aroma has notes of agave, grass, and citrus. It has a medium body with a slight sweetness and a smooth character. A fine blanco for cocktails or straight shots.
Not excessively bad; it has a reasonable level of smoothness.
Tastes earthy and bitter. I'll pass.
