This unique bourbon presents as a deep rust color with very light, oily streaks running down the glass. The aroma is packed with fruit, including cherry, red grapes, pear, ripe peach, berries and cream, sweet vanilla icing, sour candy, and a subtle hint of potpourri. The taste is a mix of sweet and savory with a thin body, featuring notes of red apple, cherry, milk chocolate, salted caramel, and a surprising pork chop flavor. The ending is lengthy, dry, and has a powdery feel, with a subtle suggestion of cherry pie. This bourbon is part of a special collection and it's fantastic! It's the sixth batch, a full-proof spirit aged in barrels that previously held peach and cherry wine. It's clearly very fruity, yet it still retains the characteristic boldness of the brand. It's the finest one I've experienced from this line, though they're all worth sampling if you have the chance. Enjoy!
