Confused as to why these three flavors are combined, but okay. Guess that's the new standard. This review covers the grapefruit hibiscus variety. It's enjoyable and vibrant. Unsure of hibiscus's typical taste, but there's a floral note present. I don't usually drink flavored tequila outside of work, so my opinion shouldn't matter. And even if I did, why would you care what I think? It's not greasy or bitter, so I'd be surprised if they used grapefruit peel. I suspect an "essence" was used, but it doesn't taste fake, so that's acceptable. It would probably be great in a paloma. It lacks the overly sweet taste I often find in flavored tequilas. This is a recent trend with few examples, and I imagine most flavored tequilas are bad. I can definitively say this one is not. I heard it was made by a company with an all-female ownership group. I question why their representative emphasized this detail as if it warrants special consideration. This suggests to me that the representative or the company might hold prejudiced views. If they don't believe women are as capable as men and require special support to maintain equality, I disagree with that perspective. Women don't need men's assistance to produce and market tequila, only the help of those skilled in those areas, regardless of their gender or even if they're robots. Therefore, using this as a selling point seems sexist to me, which is unfortunate as it could alienate unbiased individuals like myself. Unless the sales representative went off-script with their own agenda. These are the kinds of difficult questions I need answers to. Sadly, journalism is defunct, replaced by sycophants and lackeys for the establishment Left. Now, I'll exit this platform and awkwardly leave the stage.

Perfect for margaritas and a very pleasing tequila. This brand, owned by women, infuses fresh fruits and vegetables in Mexico where the spirit is produced. Blanco tequila is typically quite harsh, but 21 Seeds Tequila is flavor-forward, smooth, and easy to drink. Instead of bracing for a harsh tequila experience, you find yourself smiling; it's almost a new category because people aren't sure how to classify this beverage. The tequila line offers three varieties – cucumber jalapeno, grapefruit-hibiscus, and Valencia orange – and is sold in California, New Jersey, and New York, along with other select locations where consumers have specifically sought it out. The brand plans to expand to Texas, Arizona, Hawaii, and Florida in the near future.

The aromas are quite sweet, with evident grapefruit. I'm unsure of what hibiscus smells like. Could it be the floral note? Perhaps, but it's like lavender heavily masked by grape. The flavors mirror these aspects but aren't as sweet as the aroma suggests. I believe I prefer the smell to the taste. It's not unpleasant, just the aroma is fantastic.

I sampled the cucumber jalapeño variety on ice. Initially, it's very cucumber-forward right from the bottle. The jalapeño spice arrives at the back end. I found this to be a delightful and fun tequila. I usually drink reposado, but this will be excellent summer tequila.
