The influence of Baijiu is very evident in the aroma and the rather bitter aftertaste. Its low alcohol content results in a rather uninteresting flavor. It's intriguing but not particularly special.

About this bottle
Zhong Shi Ji is a whisky resulting from a partnership between Diageo and Jiangsu Yanghe Distillery, China's third-largest baijiu producer. Diageo's Scotch Whisky blender Craig Wallace and China Alcoholic Drinks Association baijiu master Zhou Xinhu collaborated on this spirit. Distilled in Scotland, the whisky undergoes maturation in China, including in ceramic pots, and will be available exclusively in the Chinese market.
