Zafra Master's Series 30 Year (2016)

A heads up: this is my top favorite rum ever. Smells inviting with nutty caramel and spice essences like cinnamon, cloves, and allspice. Begins incredibly warm and smooth with nutty and spice essences. It carries the nose essences with added intricacy and depth. The smooth and intricate essences are still sweet and buttery. Thick, rich mouthfeel without being overly syrupy. The conclusion carries the sweet and spicy with some warmth. The ending is clean and yet lingering. It leaves a wonderful flavor. I have never experienced a better ending in a rum. This is truly a wonderful treat.

Truly heavenly. I'll spend my remaining days searching for more of this. Flavors of honey, sherry, and brown sugar. It's like enjoying the most delicious waffles with syrup you've ever had.

Fantastic, my most expensive rum purchase, it's truly incredible. 'Smooth' doesn't even begin to capture the palate. Bitter wood, honey, and vanilla. A touch of caramel.

Potentially the finest spirit I've ever had.
