Of the widely available cachacas, this is my favorite. It performs admirably in any application, whether a Caipirinha or different cocktails. It's also quite pleasant served neat over ice (though Prata excels in cocktails and Ouro is superior neat). The attractive bottle makes it an essential addition to your bar.

About this bottle
Ypióca Cachaça Prata is produced from freshly harvested sugarcane juice that is distilled using a column still. Although Prata means "silver" in Portuguese, the spirit undergoes aging for two years in Brazilian freijó wood barrels. The bottle features decorative straw weaving from the carnaúba palm.

The first cachaca I ever tried... I liked it then, and I still do. Seems reasonably priced.
The gold version is superior.
