Kyla Trinh 2.0

Aroma: Immediately upfront, it smells like ethanol-based paint thinner; it takes a moment to get past this, revealing lighter fruit notes, mild honey, herbal grassiness, and cereal grain. The ethanol thinner scent never subsides enough to appreciate the meager aromas present, making it off-putting. Taste: Light fruitiness, some sweetness but not much, a peppery spice note, a little fiery, with an herbal or grassy note on the finish, and the pepperiness returns. Overall, this is not a good introduction to a Japanese Blended Whisky. I have sampled superior options. This nearly tastes like a sourced whiskey from Scotland, and a poor selection at that. It is highly similar, if not identical, to some subpar budget blended scotches I've encountered previously. If this is not indeed sourced, it falls short of Japanese quality standards. Regrettably, I would advise against this one.

Annabel Warden 2.8

Light body. Thin, quick legs. Short finish. Lacks complexity. It's acceptable for novices as it's neither overwhelming nor particularly memorable.

Erma Wakefield 2.3

Too delicate, and in a bad way compared to the Akashi. I couldn't detect any prominent flavors beyond the alcohol.

Aaliyah Harris 2.8

Tastes somewhat like a young, sourced lowland Scotch. It's perfectly fine. Just not outstanding.

Alena Huff 2.5

Gentle, mild. Evokes a very easygoing lowlands spirit.

Zachariah Ames 3.8

Aromatic, sweaty, and easy to drink.
