About this bottle
This limited-edition bottling represents a revival of the Super Nikka, originally released in 1962. Founder Masataka Taketsuru created the initial blend as a tribute to his wife, Rita, who was born in Scotland and passed away in 1961. The 2015 release is a recreation based on a discovered bottle of the original. This whisky was made available in the European market and is not sold in the U.S.

Quite aromatic with a zesty scent, and a brief finish. Perhaps too brief for my liking, but still a great beverage.
