Aroma: Orange, sherry, chocolate, nutmeg. Taste: Sherry, chocolate, cacao nibs, orange zest, nutty, caramel. Finish: A lengthy finish with deep sherry notes, fruitcake, honey, tart dried fruits (cranberries and cherries), and leather. Faint traces of char. Full-bodied, rich, and wonderfully oily. This leans heavily into sherry, but possesses a robust, oily character. It feels substantial yet is very well-structured and balanced. It's somewhat one-dimensional due to the prevalence of sherry, but the oily, slightly funky body truly elevates the experience. It has a potent alcohol content, but it's so well-integrated that you barely notice it until you've had a couple! A nice little drink.
