Nose: Features chocolate, vanilla, and caramel, with a whisper of fruit. Taste: Echoes the aroma, presenting a pleasant vanilla essence. Finish: Brief yet satisfying, showing a subtle vanilla barrel character. Not overly dry.
Acquired at WR distillery in September 2019. The aroma is sweet, floral, and tropical. The initial taste is like shortbread cookie with a hint of banana sundae, followed by a peppery cracker note on the finish.
It's sweet and perfumy with floral notes on the nose, but those characteristics don't carry over to the palate.
Excellent.
