This bottling represents the third and final rye release in a series of three, and it is the seventh overall Distillery Release from Woodford Reserve. The limited edition series showcases creative methods and exploration in whiskey production. This French Oak Cask Finished Rye features a rye mash distillate previously used in their Master's Selection Aged Cask Rye. That whiskey was crafted from 100% rye and matured in used American oak. To produce this particular whiskey, it completed its maturation in French oak barrels that had contained red wine. Packaged at 86.4 proof, it is offered in 375ml bottles exclusively at the distillery and at select Kentucky retailers.
