This rum undergoes aging for a period of 1.5 to 3 years and is distributed across numerous European nations, particularly the United Kingdom. It is important to note that in 2016, the brand underwent a modification to its name and packaging, previously being called Wood's 100 Old Navy Rum Export-Strength; however, the rum itself remains unchanged.

I can't imagine how the British Navy managed to sail, let alone conquer Napoleon, with rum like this as their daily issue. For me, this is a perfect rum: dark, robust, and a great deal. Let's have a toast, everyone!
Certainly a good choice for cold weather. Initial notes of roasted coffee, treacle, and smoky caramel lead to a sweet brown sugar finish. It goes down smoothly despite its high alcohol content. It also mixes well in a rum and cola.
