This whiskey, named Wood Hat Aged All American Corn Whiskey, derives its name from the local Missouri red, white, and blue corn varieties used in its production. After distillation, the varieties are combined and the whiskey matures for 8 months in small barrels.

The aroma is peppery with a sweet corn and light oaky finish. In my opinion, this is the smoothest 100% Corn Whiskey I've encountered, possessing a medium to light body that I particularly appreciate. When compared directly, I favor this over Balcones Baby Blue.
Several years ago, so relying on memory. Tannic wood, leather, light body, iodine finish. Unimpressive.
