The nose is full of bold fruit and creamy oak, with hints of barely mixed in. Cinnamon spice cake soon appears, as does a bit of brown sugar. It is very fruity and creamy, reminiscent of the ideal Christmas dessert. The palate is spicy, creamy, and sweet, with a slightly dry character. A wave of barley and fruit crosses the mouth, intensifying the spice. It's bolder than expected, but everything is in amazing harmony. Richness emerges as it settles, truly highlighting its cake-like quality. The finish is long, creamy, spicy, and a bit fruity. It's stunning to drink and experience. The cask strength from new oak was combined perfectly. This will be greatly missed.
