From a virtual tasting event in August 2021. Nose presented as very sugary with fruit, citrus, and salt notes, along with subtle hints of peat. The taste offered sweetness, notes of grapes and sweet white wine, nuttiness, oak, dried fruit, and black pepper. It finished long, with smoke, intense sweetness, and a sour note on the lingering taste, plus very faint peat traces. This is a delightful, delicate, and sweet drink. The peat is not overwhelming, making it accessible and approachable, yet it possesses enough complexity to maintain interest.
