Wolfburn 10 Year is the inaugural age-stated whisky to be included in the distillery's core lineup. This unpeated single malt has matured for a minimum of 10 years in second-fill Oloroso sherry casks and is bottled at 46% ABV.

The nose is terrible, with sulfur and sour old fruit. The body is the best part of the Wolfburn range. Pepper dominates the taste and finish. It's very polarizing; some couldn't get past the nose, but I appreciated the pepper notes. It's the best of the Wolfburn offerings, but I wouldn't buy it.
Nose: Intense sherry notes, fig and sultanas. Oak and earthy vanilla. Palate: A rush of berry fruit sweetness, malty, dark chocolate. Finish: A mild barrel spice, sultanas, white grapes.
This is the greatest Wolfburn I've had, but it's not worth $100. Maybe okay at $50. It's a fruity, intriguing pour; the finish is moderate, but the complexity is low.
Aroma of dusty honey and earthy pear. Initially astringent. Tastes of simple syrup, canned peaches, and dried figs. The finish is gentle yet drying. The flavors seem restrained.
Notes of sherry, raisins, and wood. Pleasant spice and silky texture. It's rich and sweet, but not excessively so.
I typically enjoy sherry cask whiskies, but this one fell short. It was drinkable but unremarkable.
