This intense, first batch (595 bottles) of 6-year-old Williamson single malt from an unnamed Islay distillery was bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. The nose is filled with caramelized brown sugar, thick peat smoke, red licorice, nut roast, apple pie filling, and Branston Pickle. The palate is bold with peat furnaces, wood fires, barbecued burnt ends, and green apple, finishing long and warm with smoked cheese, sea salt, and apple slices.
