William Lawson's 13 Year is named after a notable 19th-century blender at E & J Scotch. The primary component of this blended Scotch is Macduff Glen Deveron. Although it is an unpeated Scotch, the whisky is finished in charred bourbon casks to impart a smokier character.

Nose: Immediately after pouring, alcohol and sweetness dominate, then vanilla and spices emerge, with a subtle hint of fruit. This reflects standard bourbon cask aging.
