The nose begins vibrantly, full of earthy rye spice, vanilla, brown sugar, and a hint of dark chocolate. It certainly evokes Christmas spices. It softens into baking spices as it rests, remaining a delightful experience. The palate is somewhat dry and chewy, but it fills the mouth with rye and baking spice. A touch of brown sugar and oak are present in the background, but your mouth remains enveloped in that wonderful spice. It's rye, pure and simple. The finish is long and spicy, with that delicious rye lingering and slowly fading. It's a quite unique rye, truly unlike anything commonly found today.
