Whistlepig The Béhôlden is a single malt whiskey, crafted from 100% malted barley at the "first single malt distillery in North America." It was aged for 21 years, initially maturing in American oak ex-bourbon barrels before a final finishing in former Whistlepig rye barrels in Vermont. The Béhôlden is offered as single barrels, with 18 single barrels available for this limited spring release. The national rollout starts March 1, 2023, through Whistlepig's online store and select retailers. (SRP $799.99)

The bar Doyle's in Tacoma recommended this as excellent. It was tasty, but I'd say it was too expensive. I anticipate good things from future releases of this bourbon brand.
