Nose: Even at a high proof, the French Oak influence is evident. Spicy, hot. Cinnamon, baking spice, a hint of anise. Palate: Hot, but the pleasant spicy French Oak still comes through. A bit of black pepper, an underlying fruity/estery character. A nice hint of chocolate. Finish: Warm, spicy, reminiscent of Red Hots.
