The aroma is more intense than the standard single malt. It offers a deep fruit flavor reminiscent of red apple, followed by a slightly malty coffee finish that has a pleasing bitterness. I appreciate its dark complexity.
On the nose, it's reminiscent of Starburst jelly beans, followed by a finish that has a bitter, malty coffee character.
