About this bottle
Westland's Cask Exploration Series is a result of partnerships with Pacific Northwest brewers and winemakers. This second Wine Cask Finish batch utilizes Westland's standard five-malt mash bill and was first aged in first and second fill American oak. It was subsequently finished in Pacific Northwest wine casks, including Tempranillo, Washington State red blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot. Aged for 5-9 years, it is presented at 92 proof, with 9,048 bottles produced for batch 2. Distribution begins at the distillery and via e-commerce in August 2025, with broader availability across the country starting September 2025. The suggested retail price is $74.99.
