Dark red wine notes from the Syrah cask are present on the nose, subtly but smelling wonderful. They are also noticeable on the palate; initially, the intensity of the proof is overwhelming, but as it fades, you're left with a velvety red wine finish that lasts indefinitely. The body is rich and full, which is necessary at this proof. A fantastic, potent flavor, just slightly too strong. A few drops of water only intensify the flavor. Almost perfect.
