Out of all the Peat Week releases I've sampled, the 7th Annual Peat Week stood out as a favorite. The concept of a dual release was intriguing, providing a choice between two experiences tailored to individual preferences. This particular offering, aged in ex-rum casks, is deeply satisfying and elegantly rich, yet undeniably bold, coming in at a substantial 121.6 proof (and it's not even the higher proof of the two). It's creamy, with tropical notes of melon, pineapple, and papaya. The finish is lush and lingers quite a while. As expected, this one warms you up and provides a deep, lasting sensation.
