It has a light gold color. The aroma offers fruitiness with some vanilla and maple. Even after adding water, it still lacks some smoothness. It tastes young. There are some vanilla notes followed by a peppery spice. The finish is medium with a pleasant woody bitterness. It's not a bad whisky overall, but it's certainly not very smooth, even with added water. The single cask series is still interesting, though!
