West Virginia Fruit and Berry 304 Mountain Blackberry

I'm tasting this, but I wish I weren't. Initially, it has a scent similar to pop tart filling, but that fades quickly. What remains... how to describe it... Ever made Kool-Aid and forgotten the sugar, then didn't stir it well, leaving clumps? This smells like that, with a persistent smell of grain alcohol. I can't tell if they've ruined a good 4-year bourbon or concealed a bad one with fruit flavoring. It's sickeningly sweet and totally undrinkable. I suppose I'll see if cocktails can rescue this disaster.

Among the most unpleasant tasting spirits I've ever encountered. I desperately wanted to enjoy it. Awful.

Aroma of cough syrup. Palate is quite sweet.
