This malt, from Wemyss's collection of single cask bottlings with vintage dates, originates from the Linkwood distillery in Elgin, Speyside. Linkwood is among Diageo's less prominent distilleries, and its malts infrequently appear as single malt releases. This whisky was distilled in 1997 and aged in a hogshead cask. It was bottled in 2013 at 46% ABV, with only 363 bottles produced.
