Weaver's American Light Whiskey

Lacking effervescence. You could label it "Corn Squeezin's" and call it a day. For reasons unknown, I find myself returning to it. It's akin to a lighter version of moonshine. The corn sweetness is present, with about half the intensity of a corn mash moonshine. It's actually quite enjoyable mixed with chilled black iced tea and cranberry juice. I consider it a good whiskey for experimenting with high-proof drinks that would typically be mixed. However, it's not something I wish to drink neat and define specifically.

This is a very pleasant whiskey. The hint of caramel truly stands out. As a light whiskey, it's less full-bodied than typical spirits, and that's perfectly fine with me. I appreciate this in an Old Fashioned or Sour. An additional benefit is the distinctive artwork.

I find this to be a decent light whiskey. However, it's not my top choice.
