[APPEARANCE] Deep straw [AROMA] Powdery floral fresh grain, sweet straw, faint honey glaze, soft, not pronounced but gentle and inviting [TASTE] Sweet entry of honeyed grain that shifts into a fusel-like bitterness, fennel bitters, faint pear, then sweetens to unripe orchard fruits with a hint of rancid butter [FINISH] Ends with a classic ashy wisp, good balance of heat, ginger, and singed barley husk [MOUTHFEEL/NOTES] Soft entry, delicate until a bitter and fervent mid-palate, low burn and grain-forward finish, excellent Irish whisky. It could have used more accessible fruit notes, but for its intended profile, it's solid!
