Knappogue Castle 21 Year Exclusive Cask Vatting is a single malt composed of spirits from two distinct vintages originating at the same distillery. One component was aged for 23 years, having been laid down in 1994, while the second was aged for 21 years from a 1996 vintage. Both were matured in ex-bourbon barrels. The blended single malts are presented at 92 proof, and with only 1400 bottles produced, availability is expected to be scarce.

Aroma: Definitely get malt/cereal, green apples, slight vanilla/caramel notes from the bourbon barrels Flavor: Tons of oak and malt in first sip, then you get some green apple, figs, bakers chocolate, (slight shortbread) and ends with a finish of sweet cream.
It's a real beauty!
