About this bottle
Scott "Mash" Schumaker, owner of Virginia Sweetwater Distillery, developed War Horn Whisky to commemorate his late brother, William, a lieutenant colonel in the US Army. The spirit's name originates from his brother's battalion's battle cry, "Sound the War Horns!" It is produced from an unspecified mash bill and distilled using a traditional pot still before oak barrel aging.
