Good, dependable pour. It has that fruity, pot still whiskey scent, but the herbal/minty rye notes are not really present. The initial taste is clean, leading into the middle taste of light vanilla and brown sugar, and wood. Finishes well, but again, very clean. This isn't a complex or heavily layered whiskey, but it represents its core flavors well, and it's very easy to drink. I think it's priced a bit high, but it's their own distillate aged for 7 years from a craft distillery, so I suppose the price is higher for that reason.

This is excellent! It's a rye for bourbon enthusiasts, and credit is due since they're using their own distillate. The double barrel effect is definitely present. Sweet tea flavor dominates the initial and middle tastes, with a finish that lingers briefly but isn't overpowering. This was quite enjoyable and a good value for the $90 I spent.
