About this bottle

Volcán De Mi Tierra, Moët Hennessey's first tequila brand acquired in 2017, sources its Reposado expression from 100% Highland (Los Altos) agaves. Following distillation, this tequila is matured for 135 days in new American and European oak. It became available in select markets in November 2020 and is additive-free.

Opened the bottle and let it rest for about five minutes. Appearance: Deep orange in the bottle, it transforms into a light sunset color with thick legs when poured. Nose: A substantial vegetal aroma; sweet sugarcane; fruity notes; a little unusual. Taste: Very oily and peppery on the lips; incredibly rich; thick and syrupy; a hint of lime. Finish: The peppery taste and oiliness persist; it lingers a bit longer than I'd prefer, but I still approve.
