This apricot brandy has an off-putting smell, akin to paint thinner. The taste is somewhat better; there's an initial burn and a slightly harsh texture, but at least the apricot flavor is subtly present in the background, along with some sweetness. The finish has sharp alcoholic burnings that eventually give way to a pleasant warmth. The bottle claims 30 years of aging, but it doesn't taste that old, unless it was aged in metal containers.
