Aromas of dried earthy leaves, apricot, and cardamom. A slight medicinal quality that, while not unpleasant, reminds me a bit of banana syrup. The alcohol is surprisingly subtle. On the palate, very vegetal and aromatic flavors. Roots, mint, green wood, stone fruits, and eau-de-vie. An interesting combination, but challenging to approach on the first sip. Those who enjoy herbal liqueurs might find it appealing, but I personally prefer the original Brennevin, which is smoother and easier to drink.
