About this bottle

Carlos Camarena, recognized as one of the foremost tequila producers, crafts Villa Lobos. This extra añejo tequila is aged for over 4 years in American oak barrels, followed by an additional 6 months in steel tanks to refine the spirit and harmonize the flavors. Initially conceived as a joint venture between Carlos and Dale Sklar to cater to the increasing demand for agave spirits in England, it has since been introduced to the United States. This tequila contains no additives.

Carolyn Slade 4.0

A rich, four-year-old Añejo Tequila from a distillery in Jalisco, Mexico, crafted from agave harvested by growers on family plantations in Los Altos. It was aged in oak barrels for four years before resting in open steel tanks for at least six months. It presents a rich beginning with notes of toffee, smoke, citrus, floral elements, and vanilla. Its life is sweet and smooth, adding flavors of buttery toast, maple, agave, caramel, and spice, leading to a long and balanced conclusion with hints of caramel and oak. August / December 2018
