Grant Irizarry 3.0

A powerful, limited edition Rye Whiskey from a producer in Red Hook, Brooklyn, New York, crafted from a 100% rye mash bill and matured in medium-sized barrels. It possesses a bold, oily initial impression with notes of herbs, spices, oak, and smoke. Its intense character develops notes of rye, dried apricot, corn, cardamom, and green wood, culminating in a long, oily, toasty finish with hints of bitter oak and sugar.

Adelyn Childress 2.8

Nose - slightly floral Palate - unpleasant Finish - overly strong in a negative way Overall - The memory of a particular college professor who consistently gave me poor grades and made my life difficult left a bad impression. This spirit did the same.

Rhett Delaney 2.0

I concur. It might benefit from a little more time aging, but it's not bad. A taste of toasted burnt sugar remains after the initial flavor. However, it's overpriced, and there are significantly better established whiskeys available.

Maudie Maxey 4.0

Of all the Van Brunt options, I would certainly get this one. It expertly balances the spicy character of the rye with the distinct sweetness of the barley. A really enjoyable rye.

Jayden Puckett 3.3

The nose offers rye, herbs, and a hint of orange zest. The taste is light yet herbal, with notes of coriander, pine, black pepper, lemon, and orange zest.

Evan Lowery 4.8

One person detected notes of apricot. Another tasted rye and sweetness. A third identified smoke and sweetness.
